An Analytical Reading into the Change of Positions of Some States Towards Assad’s regime; Merely Chaos or a Political Earthquake?

Introduction:
The earthquake of the century that hit both Syria and Turkey, especially the liberated regions of North-Western Syria as well as Aleppo and the coast which are under the control of Assad’s regime, has indeed resulted in massive effects on the region exceeding in its dimensions the geological tectonic and the material humanitarian levels. As the earthquake was accompanied with unprecedented activity on the political level, and the movement of diplomatic aircraft instead of humanitarian ones in the airspace of the region. The talk of a new change in the international mood towards Assad’s regime has been very prevalent amongst concerned circles, with the title: Changes in attitude to Assad’s regime, which involves communication and collaboration in various fields. Thus, some critical questions from the Syrian people in general and the supporters of the revolution in particular emerge, which are: What is the extent of changes happening in the positions of the active state’s in the Syrian issue towards Assad’s regime? Can it be really confirmed that there exists a more open general mood towards Assad’s regime?
These questions and attempting to answer them seem to be of utmost importance and sensitivity simultaneously. That is due to their connection to the future of the Syrian cause, and that they form the basis of understanding the formation of the international general mood in the future. And therefore the upcoming reproachments towards this cause, which is what we attempt to answer in this analytical report through tracking and analysing the positions of the main regional and global states involved in the Syrian issue after the earthquake crisis, and determining the changes in them.
