The Center’s participation in the event of “A decade of dignity”
Within the events of celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Syrian revolution and pursuant to an invitation from Cukurova Academy, Dr. Yassin Gamol, the researcher in Syrian Dialogue Center, participated in the event: “A decade of dignity” in the Turkish city Adana on 7th of Sha’ban 1442, 20 March 2021. This event was held by Cukurova Academy in the headquarters of the Turkish Organization IHH.
Dr. Gamol talked in the seminar under the title “Our revolution between documentation and deception” displaying a research paper issued previously by the Syrian Dialogue Center with the title: “Towards changing the principles of the Syrian revolution into a case”. Dr. Gamol also mentioned the similarities between Palestinian and Syrian cases and focused on the tools of community action in order to make the principles of the Syrian revolution a case that is established in the minds of the Syrians.
The event also discussed- through other speakers- the importance of documentation in the Syrian revolution and it also included an interjection about the Syrian reality before the rule of Alasad as well as an interjection about the importance of the revolutionary students’ action and its effect in the society.
