Training Course “Establishing and Managing Information Support Systems in Media and Research Institutions”
With the development of Syrian entities and organizations, the need for professional work in media and research institutions has become urgent, to ensure professional work and the ability to keep up with world institutions and centers and to advance services and national interests
Course Aim:
To inform trainees of the importance of information, and the need of media and research centers for monitoring and follow-up sections and professionalism and planning, rather than acting randomly and improvising.
Course Topics:
- Demonstrating establishment procedures which include several steps, the most important of which is determining specializations and the administrative structure of the system and the beneficiaries, and product output and its design and worker organization within the structure
- Seeing how to define the work structure and build an advanced archiving system, and planning budgeting, promotion and deployment
The course was presented by Dr. Bashir Zein al-Abidin, a Syrian writer, academic and researcher, who received his doctorate in history from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London
