It tracks the changes and transformations that have occurred to the community and examines the reasons that led to these with the aim of coming up with solutions and recommendations for improvements to actors and decision-makers.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Social Unit Interests: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The social unit is concerned with studying the conditions of Syrians, whether they are in opposition-controlled areas, (forcibly) displaced, in regime-held areas, or refugees in neighboring countries, especially Turkey, within the following research axes:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>The social, intellectual, and cultural changes that occurred to Syrians because of the repercussions of the Syrian revolution<\/li>\n<li>Supporting efforts of the Syrian civil society and promoting community participation<\/li>\n<li>The social, economic, and educational problems facing Syrians because of displacement and asylum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Paths of Social Unit:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The unit has three main tracks:<\/p>\n<ul dir=\"ltr\">\n<li>The path of societal problems facing Syrians<\/li>\n<li>The path Syrian civil society<\/li>\n<li>The path of Syrian-Turkish relations at the social level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Social Unit Productions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The unit produces research and studies and analytical papers reports that monitor changes, track immediate and urgent social problems, anticipate future problems and work to suggest solutions to them, using research tools, especially dialogue-related ones with experts and decision-makers.
