Within the context of the Center’s work on qualifying young cadres and providing them with research tools that can enable them to practice their role in the research field, the Syrian Dialogue Center provided a training course with the title \u201cBasics of scientific research methodology\u201d within the events of the week of \u201cReading challenge\u201d organized by Olives Branch Organization for culture and education in cooperation with Cukoruva in the Turkish city Adana on 28th of Sha\u2019ban 1442, 10th of April 2021 with the attendance of 15 university students.<\/p>\n
Dr. Yasin Gamol, the researcher in the Syrian Dialogue Center, provided the course starting with necessary introductions about the importance of combining the theoretical basics in the scientific research methodology and the practical application so that using tools won\u2019t be overcoming the content and the correct practical application. He also stated th necessity of varying research tools and developing them to fit the latest updates in the research and cognitive scene. He also stated the importance of adherence of the researchers and students to the cognitive assets and the roots of cultural identity.<\/p>\n
Using examples from many informational specialties, the trainer started to present the training subject starting from the first stage of scientific research as he talked about selecting the topic of the research and the criteria of using the research and the specifying the research problem and asserting the availability of resources and references as well as the criteria of putting titles and research assumptions.<\/p>\n
In the second stage of scientific research he talked about the shape of scientific researches and what corresponds with these shapes of researching methods and ways of writing them and he also displayed examples from books, university messages and a number of essays and reports.<\/p>\n
He concluded the session with the third stage of scientific research where he talked about the methodologies of scientific research and the importance of knowing these methodologies in order to choose what fits their topics. He also talked in details about the historical methodology and its basics and what can researchers benefit from it in different fields of knowledge.<\/p>\n
Students that participated in the course showed good interaction and Dr. Yasin answered on all their questions at the end of the session. Afterwards he attended a meeting with the organizers of the event to discuss the ways of cooperation and the methods of increasing the students\u2019 cultural activity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
