This report conveys to the reader the insight of a group of experts and researchers about the development in the normalization path of the Assad regime and the effort of Syrian activists and organizations in the United States of America to do something that pushes the US to limit it.<\/p>\n

The political scene in Syria has recently witnessed many successive Arab efforts to normalize with the Assad regime. Some Arab countries have restored diplomatic relations with it at various levels, such as the UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, Sudan and Jordan. Jordan has recently increased its activity and movement to re-legitimize the regime on the Arab, regional and international levels, in light of the condoning of the United States announced these efforts, which had previously threatened to apply comprehensive sanctions to any party trying to deal with the regime and breach the collar of isolation imposed on it by the American Penal Code \u201cCaesar Act.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on the efforts that Syrian activists have done in the United States of America previously, which eventually contributed in enforcing Caesar’s Act; It is important today to talk about the chances of Syrian activists and organizations in the United States of America succeeding in doing something that pushes the United States of America to limit the efforts of normalization with the Assad regime led by several Arab regimes in the region, and to return the Syrian dossier to the attention of the current American administration after the recent stalemate.<\/p>\n

To discuss this issue, the Syrian Dialogue Center hosted in a special symposium many activists and experts in Syrian organizations in the United States of America, namely MR. \u201cAyman Abdel Nour\u201d Dr. \u201cMuhammad Bakr Ghabis\u201d, and MR. \u201cQutayba Idlebi\u201d.<\/p>\n
