Media report of the dialogue symposium “Mechanisms for enhancing societal trust among Syrians: The role of political, military and scientific institutions”

Social trust represents an essential basis for any conceivable solution in the Syrian case. It serves as the broad basis for solutions that can be built at the level of elites and institutions. However, in the Syrian case, most of the facts lead to distrust more than confidence. Because of the exceptional circumstances and the objective context that the Syrian people have gone through.

Because of the importance of this topic and to discuss it broader; On Tuesday, Muharram 30, 1443 AH, corresponding to September 7, 2021 AD, the Syrian Dialogue Center held a virtual seminar entitled: “Mechanisms for Enhancing Community Trust among Syrians: The Role of Political, Military and Scientific Religious Institutions,” in the presence of a group of elites, researchers, politicians and some interested in this matter

The researcher at the Syrian Dialogue Center reviewed: Dr. Ahmed Qorby, a group of factors that contribute to enhancing confidence on the family, economic, geographical, historical, and institutional side, and how to face challenges in this regard.

The symposium received wide participation by the attendees, who presented many ideas that could help provide answers about the issue of enhancing trust, and how it could be built upon between politicians and the military with the popular incubator, as well as the role of religious institutions in this context.
